about us
Anodizers (formerly Anodizers & Electroplaters) was founded in 1958 by Eric Brazier, an English chemical engineer. 2008 sees us celebrate 50 years in the industry operating since inception from the original premises at 55 Barry Avenue Mortdale.
In 2004 Eric retired and sold the business to Simon Allsopp. With a broad based business background including marine industry experience, public practice accounting and business ownership, Anodizers has gone from strength to strength.
The experienced team at Anodizers is headed by Dave Gillette, an employee since 1965, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business spending most of this time on the floor. In fact 13 of the employees within the business started in the last century.
Both long standing employees of Anodizers, Sue and Joy are your first point of contact and are able to help with any enquiries in regard to our products.
In a day and age when a few years in a job is considered skilled, our team exemplifies true experience and best practice having earned our business an enviable reputation within the industry for the delivery of quality.
Our process is a hand line and as such all components and pieces are racked onto handmade custom racks and carried through an eight to thirteen stage tank process before being unracked and packed.
For more details on the anodizing process or our list of products, check out our anodizing page which provides extensive details on what anodising is, how it is done, anodising benefits, maintenance and care of anodised products and alloy characteristics and anodising.
For you convenience we also provide a colour chart for easy reference. Please note, the chart should be used as a guide only.
